Women in the MilitaryI have been reading some blogs of people that have loved ones in the military or people in the military... I came across this post and wanted to share it here.
I am not going to comment about women in the military... but it saddens my heart to know this woman has to leave her children to defend this great nation. I wish she didn't have to go but she volunteered. Everyone in the military volunteered. Some are patriots... some just needed a job... some were trouble makers... some needed a way to pay for college... but we all volunteered. We volunteered to defend a nation that allows its citizens to have free speech and protest this war. We volunteered to defend a citizens right to burn the flag, turn there backs, and spit on anything that resembles the military we joined. I joined the military because I am a patriot... anyone who knows me knows I have always been... I joined the military to be leader... I joined the military to serve... I joined the military so that I could give up my freedom so that others might be free. If you want to read some other blogs of military personel and there family's click here. A new window will open. - footprints of Chad, 3:30 AM
