I am going to One Day 2003 over Memorial Day weekend! That is going to be a blast. They call it One Day because Saturday and Sunday are spent preparing for Monday... you'll have to check out the website if you want to know more about it. So it is also going to be cool cause it means Road Trip!! It is like 7 hours away so that should be fun. Road trips are a blast... with the right peeps!! Right now it is just 3 guys and a gal in my group but there might be another girl if we can convince her to go. There is a whole lot of people from KSU going... it's going to be great. I think I mentioned that once.... but it is!
Hey!! This is my first post with my new laptop!! I haven't yet got the stuff I need transferred to this computer, important files and what-not, but I got it hooked up to the web! Didn't know how much fun it was going to be to have a laptop!
This weekend was AWESOME! Thursday night it started with a dance that was sponsored by Campus Crusade for Christ... good times... then Friday night I went and had dinner with a married couple that went to my High School. Lindsay was due to have a baby yesterday... not sure if she did. It was good to see them. She was getting sick and tired of being pregnant i'll tell you that. She is taking 17 hours this semester and has 6 finals this upcoming week... and she could have her baby anytime! Crazy!! After dinner I went over to a friends house and me about 7 others played a board game called Moods... then we went to the Student Union because the they were serving free ice cream. Free food is always good... free ice cream is even better! After that we all went back and played another board game called Imagine If... (the three dots are really a part of the title). That is really fun game to play among friends. Lets you know how well you know (or don't know) each other! Saturday I slept in... which was great! Headed to a graduation ceremony for my friend Rachel at 2:00. She graduated from Manhattan Christian College. It was cool going to a graduation and having it be like a church service. The speaker was really good. I was quite impressed. After that I went to a graduation party for a different friend... then I came back to my apartment with yet another friend(Becky) and we watched "Life is Beautiful." Wonderful movie. Words cannot describe this movie. It is definitely in my top ten. I don't cry often at movies... this one just about makes me ball. Highly recommended. Then about 11 me and group of friends (different than Friday night) bought some marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate, went out to the lake and built a fire. We made s'mores and just sat around the campfire 'til 3 a.m. Talk about good times... wow... I am really going to miss all this. Today was spent sitting in front of a computer studying for my final in Visual Basic .NET which I have in 10 hours... seven of which will be spent sleeping so I need to stop blogging and go to bed so I can get up at 6 a.m. and start studying again for my test which is at 9. It's almost over. Three more tests in the next 48 hours and I am done. wow... crazy...
