I'm Back

Today is the first time I have spent more than 5 minutes on a computer in the last ten days. It also marked the end to may little vacation from reality. In the past 17 or so days everyday has been a Saturday for me. And it has been the most amazing period in recent memory. It has been good to get away for awhile. I went to OneDay03 and it was amazing! Great speakers, great bands, great prayer times, great fellowship, great camping, great weather... It was just awesome. While at the conference I was able to make some new friends, strengthen some old friends, reflect on the past year and get excited about going to England and starting my ministry there. Even though I am in the Air Force I live my life for one thing. Bringing glory to God and His Son Jesus Christ. While I was there they talked about missions in England. They spoke about an organization called Soul Survivor that I may try and get hooked up with while I am in England.

I went fishing upon getting back from One Day. My dad, my brother and I went to Kirwin Lake Wednesday and stayed the night. We caught several fish and I had a really good time spending time with them. So tonight will be the second time in the last week that I sleep in something other than a tent.

I thought of so many things that I wanted to blog while I was away from my computer these past 10 days but didn't write them down... guess if I want to post about something I had better jot down some notes about it so I can remember when I have such long absences. I should be back on a regular schedule with posts again now that things have slowed down a bit. I will be working for my dad for about the next month then I am going to take some time to travel around and visit some friends.

Future posts will have a bit more detail... but it is getting late and I have to get up and work tomorrow... yes it will be Saturday but farmers never pay attention to what day it is... if work needs done you do it, no questions asked.
