New Car

I've went and done it... I've purchased a new car! Well, I haven't actually purchased it yet but I am going to tomorrow. My uncle is good friends with this guy who is a car salesman at a Ford dealer in the eastern part of the state... so I called my uncle last night and told him I was interested in a new car and I was hoping he could help me find a good deal. He called me back today and said he had found me a good deal. So I am just going to say I got a good deal on a 2002 Ford Explorer XLS, dark green. Would've rather had a blue one but one can't be to picky when you are shopping for deals. So below is picture... not of the one I am getting but of the model mentioned. I am sure you have all seen them before... pretty common on the road these days! I am so excited! The only thing is I am working myself into more debt and I am not even getting paid yet... ahh... but buying stuff for the reality of life is fun... at least it is now... knowing that in just over a month I am going to be getting a pretty decent pay check that will help me pay off my debt and knowing that I have a guaranteed job for the next 4 years helps. Getting approved for the loans I've gotten have been quite simple... just telling my bank that I am a new 2nd Lt and them saying oh ok... no problem. So... tomorrow I am taking a little trip to finalize the deal... and to stop in Manhattan and pick up a few things that i left cause they wouldn't all fit in my car when I came home. So it is road trip time once again...

Oh... my Mom went to Colby today and she is supposed to get me a USB cable so I can hook my scanner... so I will be able to post some pictures soon... As I type this I realize that since I am going to Manhattan tomorrow and I have a USB cable in Manhattan that there is no need for my mother to pick me up one but I am guessing it to late to stop her... oh well... guess I'll have an extra.
