Election

November 2nd is Election Day. If you didn?t know that and you are from the US you probably live in a cave. In fact my guess is a good percentage of the world population knows there is an election in the USA next week. I personally support President Bush. Not because I agree with all his policies but because I know that he puts his faith in something bigger than himself. I am not saying Kerry doesn't but... Bush understands that God is ultimately in control. He prays for wisdom when making decisions. I am voting for Bush because I want my leader to recognize Jesus Christ as the ultimate leader.

Senator Kerry pointed out in the last debate that he is a politician that just happens to be a Catholic. Shouldn't it be the other way around if he is truly a man of faith. Kerry has to tell people he is a man of faith. Telling people you are a man of faith and having no action to go along with it is like writing checks with no money in your account. George Bush doesn?t really have to tell people he is Christian, they know he is by his actions and what he stands for.

Come January when the next President is sworn in I would like it to be Bush, however, the outcome of the election will not hinder God's ultimate plan. The President of the United States is a powerful man but that power pales in comparison to the Almighty power of Christ.

I would also like to point out that this country has lasted 228 years with a constitution that has changed very little from its inception. I am not completely sure but I am guessing that makes our government one of the oldest governments on the planet. Sure some Europeans countries have been around longer but until a little over 100 years ago most were ruled by monarchs. Our constitution was a radical idea when it was conceived but the group of men who put it together where some of the greatest minds ever assembled into one place.

Sure the USA has had its ups and downs but we have always come through on the other side shining. Our government is set up so that no one branch has to much power. If Kerry gets elected he probably won't finish the job in Iraq but the CIA and the NSA are not going to stop looking for terrorists. People who blame President Bush for the 9/11 are idiots. He had no more to do with that attack than he did the creation of the world.

Anyway... my point is if Kerry is elected we'll get through it just like we got through Bill Clinton... the economy will probably get better and the next time a republican takes office it will get worse before he actually gets sworn in but it will be his fault... just like the liberals are trying to say the slagging economy had everything to do with Bush and nothing to do with Clinton even though it started to downturn before Bush even took office.

Every great civilization in this planets history have come to an end in some way or another (not including the USA)... many of the greatest ones have lasted hundreds upon hundreds of years. Well the USA is just getting started... we'll not see the end of this nation in my lifetime or the lifetime of my grandkids. Unless of course Jesus Christ decides to return and gather His people in worship for eternity.
