One Year Down...On October 24th I will have been living in England for one year. I cannot hardly believe it. Just a quick run down of what I have done in the last year. I started my Air Force career, I spent Thanksgiving in Germany and skied in the Alps, I lived in Alabama for 6 weeks, I became a shop chief with 24 people under me, went horse back riding in Whales, spent 4 days in Salzburg, Austria, took a train from Salzburg to Ramstein, Germany, went to a wedding in Kansas City, traveled all over England with my brother and his wife, went deep sea fishing in the English Channel, went to Paris, got engaged, went to the Olympics in Athens, spent a day at a beach in Marathon, and visited London numerous times in the last 4 months. The coolest things I have seen or done... Parthenon and Acropolys Stonehenge Eiffel Tower Eagles Nest Big Ben Tower Bridge Olympic Stadium The Chunnel (English Channel Tunnel) White Cliffs of Dover Buckingham Palace Sound of Music Tour All of that and I have two years left. I was only supposed to be here for two years but since I am getting married they are extending me here for one more year. Which will be fun. What a better time to live in Europe than when you are young and just married. We're going to have a great time! I love you Jen and I can't wait until you can take all those trips with me! - footprints of Chad, 6:30 PM
