Laughter... the Best Medicine... or... is it something else?Professionalism at its FinestThe level of conversation in the office I currently work in will always keep you on your toes and if you are easily offended you may find yourself with hurting ears from time to time. Today the conversation didn't reach the low point it does sometimes but it was still pretty funny... the topic was on the diet of one of my co-workers (I'll call him John, he is 53), he essentially is starving himself for 4 days then eating "normal" for 3 days during the week. He has not lost any weight and he can't figure out why. We've tried to tell him that he can't loose weight because the diet he is trying is useless. Starving yourself just isn't good for you, we tell him. One of my other co-workers (I'll call him Robert), said he should stop drinking beer, starting doing cardio 3 times a week and fart on a regular basis. We all laughed and said that was ridiculous… here's the conversation from there. Robert: You know… (trying not to laugh while talking) when you smile and laugh it uses all kinds of muscles in your face and stomach Me: And I suppose you think farting does the same thing but instead of tensing up your face it tenses up your butt... Robert: It's true! You burn like 5 calories every time you squeeze one out! John (British accent): Yeah… but at my age… you just can't trust a fart… *we all just start busting a gut at this point but another Brit in the office chimes in... Jason (British accent): *laugh* (imitating John) oh, uh-oh… well I had better rush to toilet… I think this fart has fooled me… John: (British accent) Oh bugger off you ol'e tosser! Robert: Com'on... Google it and we'll settle this... This is just a small taste of the day to day conversation in my office. Hope you enjoyed it. :) - footprints of Chad, 5:05 PM .:

Go Bears!! The Bears are in the playoffs and I am very much looking forward to there game this Sunday against the Panthers! It has been quite a dry spell for Bears fans but I finally feel good about the teams prospects... not only for the possibility of being in the Super Bowl but actually having a decent team next year as well. Lovie Smith was coach of the year for good reason. His team is going to remain strong for several more years. I was glad to see that the state of Illinois knows what is really important... Bears Football. They are trying to pass legislation to declare the '85 Bears the best team ever. Thanks to Da' Bears Blog for pointing me to that story. - footprints of Chad, 11:36 AM .:

Extra!So... if your reading this, first of all I am surprised, but secondly you must be thinking I live an awfully dull life to have a blog that I never post cool or exciting stories too. Well... let's see... in the last 2 years I have spent a total of 10 weeks in the US, 1 week in Italy, 10 days in France, 3 weeks in Germany, 1 week in Greece, 4 days in Austria, taken countless trips to London, and on top of all that I got married. So it has been exciting I just haven't written about it much. One cool thing that I have done recently is being an extra in major motion picture to be released this spring about Flight 93 called Flight 93. I may only get a few seconds or no seconds on the screen but by golly I got paid over £100 to be on set all day. The director of the film is the same guy who directed The Bourne Supremacy, Paul Greengrass. In case your wondering here is the plot outline directly from IMDB, "A real time account of the events on United Flight 93, one of the planes hijacked on 9/11 that crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania when passengers foiled the terrorist plot."I was just a guy walking down a hallway in a sequence that will probably last less than 5 seconds in the movie if they include it all. But it was definitely cool being on a movie set and really being behind the scenes. **UPDATE** At the time of this post the movie was slated to be called Flight 93, however, the name of the movie was changed before major marketing efforts began to United 93 ** - footprints of Chad, 4:26 PM .:
