Three Peaks WalkTwo weeks ago I went on the most amazing hike in the Yorkshire Dales National Park in Northern Yorkshire. It is a stunning walk up and down the 3 highest peaks in the park. It is a 25 mile hike starting in charming little village called Horton-in-Ribblesdale. I took about 110 photos on the walk mainly because it seemed around every bend and over every hill was the most fantastic view of English country-side. To quote the Brit that owns the place where we stayed,"there's only one pace of life in these parts... no, i'd rather say there's two... that's slow, and stopped."It was a gorgeous day, perfect for hiking. There are quite a few websites that tell you all about it... here's a link to one that shows the elevation changes along the 25 mile route. Click Here to view the pictures that I took from that day. I've also posted a few on my photoblog under Rural England. Enjoy! - footprints of Chad, 5:06 PM .:

Post 200Well... I started this thing in February of 2003... a lot has happened since then but not that much has actually been captured on here. This is my 200th post. Considering I've been at it for 1180 days you would think I would have more than 200 posts. Also considering I made my 100th post in August of 2003... well anyway. Glad to still be here. For everyone out that is wondering how I am doing and how married life is treating me... I'm doing just fine and dandy and married life is Grrreat! I'm not going to promise more posts soon... but I am sure going to try. Currently I have 164 days (Yay!!!) left here at Croughton so I am going to shoot for 50 posts before I leave... that is about twice a week... we'll see. I'll be back. - footprints of Chad, 5:02 PM.:
